Akureyri, Iceland

You will find Tecla in the yacht harbour, Torfunefsbryggja 13 at the edge of the town centre, 300 metres from the bus station.

Joining location for Blue Clipper will be confirmed in your final voyage details.

Any changes will be communicated to you before your voyage start date. Make sure you make a note of the ship’s number found in your confirmation email in case of any problems on the day.

In the summer of 2017, Icelandair was offering direct flights to Akureyri Airport via Keflavík International Airport, making it easy to travel to Iceland’s ‘Capital of the North’ from many of Icelandair’s European and North American gateways. With these flights, customers can bypass travelling to Akureyri via Reykjavik domestic airport, saving both time and money.

For these 2018 voyages, you may find a direct flight to Akureyi from European and US airports, but if the dates don’t fit, then fly to the international airport at Keflavik, and transfer to the Reykjavik city airport for more choice of daily flights to the Northern city of Akureyri. See the “How to get there” section below for information on transfers from airport to ship.
