We really could not have had a better introduction to classic boat sailing. Tallulah is a beautiful ship, the skipper and mate were friendly, great teachers, and made us feel safe throughout the trip (even in a named storm), and our vegan diet was not only catered for, but the crew made some really outstanding meals. Anthony’s porridge and Debbie’s bean casserole deserve a special mention! Thank you to the Classic Sailing team for such a fantastic experience – we cannot wait to be back.

Thé three day trip met my expectations well, with plenty of good sailing, instruction, shore visits, good food, all facilitated by the skipper and crew.

Fantastic day! The skipper (Debbie) kept it interesting by rotating crew and still maintaining full control! Amazing

An excellent voyage, with lovely coves to moor in, beaches to explore.

PS maybe worth adding a line to the joining instructions, bring along a local delicacy to enjoy with your fellow sailers and crew.

This was the first time I had sailed, and although I suffered from seasickness a couple of times, the experience was something that I could not have even imagined. The crew were all very helpful to a “newbie” and I would think of another sailing trip, but perhaps in calmer waters .

Classic Sailing says: That’s a good point, the passage to and from the Isles of Scilly is never going to be a calm. The islands lie in the Atlantic which out there is never still.

We have made this clearer in our voyage descriptions for the Isles of Scilly.

Fantastic experience where we were given expert help and advice by Debbie and crew. I never thought we would tack Talulah into Falmouth harbour but we did, what a fun experience and soooo enjoyable. Highly recommended and will be booking up again soon, thank you

Beautiful boat, learnt loads and really appreciated the company and expertise of Debbie and Jess. Even Better? Cake. Shorter yoga sessions so we can sail earlier. Simpler lunches so less work for crew.

Classic Sailing says. Thanks for the suggestions, Debbie will be taking them into account on the next Yoga voyages.

Amazing day thank you so much Deb and Anthony. I was so stressed by work and didn’t really want to do much and you totally accommodated my laziness and let me zone out gazing at the water and watching the others work. I left chilled, relaxed and happy, just what I needed thank you!

Debbie is great, she has a great passion for sailing and is very knowledgeable about boat building too! Anthony was extremely helpful, they make a great team and they made us feel very comfortable on board. Understandably, there is limited space and privacy but I slept really well which I really did not expect! Would love to sail again with Debbie and Tallulah.

Good to have patient, supportive crew. Very nice bunch of people on board. Felt well looked after. Nice balance for a first sail of sailing in wilder weather as well as calm seas. Good food. Perhaps make fruit available on breakfast table. Perhaps add curtains to bunks to offer tiny bit of privacy for changing.

Debbie says, fruit is always available at any time. She will try to add curtains where possible.
