Swansea, Wales

The City of Swansea has a sweeping waterfront looking out onto Swansea Bay. The Mumbles headland and the spectacular surf beaches of the Gower Peninsula are beyond the City to the west. When Irene of Bridgewater was a coastal trading ship, Swansea would have been a regular port to pick up coal. There is still an extensive dock system either side of the River Tawe. Today she collects adventurous charter guests.

A landmark on the waterfront is the National Waterfront Museum.

We expect Irene to be moored on the waterfront near the museum. Classic Sailing are awaiting confirmation of this and if and when Irene owners are able to reserved a berth, we will email customers.
