Please note many of the facilities made available to the Pilot Cutters are done on goodwill and it would be appreciated if you could thank any staff you meet and their organisation.

This year we do require everyone cutter entering any race to submit an up to date OGA Handicap Form,

Due to many activities in St Mawes Harbour throughout the Jubilee Weekend.
Anchoring must be
South of a line joining the St Mawes Sailing Club Race Turning Mark and the Castle Buoy.

Charlestown Harbour, Anchor off.
Briefing for Passage Race to Fowey 19:30 near the ‘Rum Sailor’.
You will need to note the lat and long of the turning point.
There’ll be water in the outer harbour for people to bring in tenders from around 17.00 to 22.00.
Lots of food options, including barbeque, fish and chips, tapas. The ‘Rum Sailor’ bar will be open on the inner harbour.
Thursday 2nd June
Passage Race to Fowey via a specified turning longitude.

Start Area anywhere safe within 1 Nautical Mile of Charleston Harbour Pier.
You are required to keep a log of your start and finish times and a plot of where you cross the distance line.
The outer distance line is anywhere safe south of The Ranneys 50 degrees 19.8 minutes North and 4 degrees 26.5 minutes West Admiralty Chart 1267

Fowey Harbour Commissioners have kindly set aside the pontoon beside Prime Cellars. Pilot Cutter Owners to pay their own berthing fees.

St Mawes Pier and Harbour Company have kindly agreed free anchoring in St Mawes Bay leaving good access for Ferries.
