Anny – Tall Ship Tasters in Cornwall & Devon

The owners of Charlestown Harbour thought they really should have their own flagship that can take people sailing. Anny is a wooden topsail schooner built in 1930. She certainly looks the part in this historic harbour that is used for period TV dramas like Poldark. Run by an experienced team of tall ship sailors we are proud to be their booking office ashore for the 3-7 day voyages.

Anny of Charlestown was built solidly in oak in Denmark and her beautiful lines will look familiar to anyone who sailed on her when she was called Fiddlers Green. She has 12 sails to play with and a maximum guest crew of 8 with 2 crew. The cabin arrangements come at different prices to suit all budgets and offer flexibility for groups or solo travellers.

Charlestown is situated in the middle of South Cornwall with extensive and beautiful sailing grounds to the West and well into Devon to the east.

She is also sailing further afield to Brest Festival of the Sea 2020 in Brittany and Douarnenez Festival – Temps Fete 2020. These voyages have availability as they have only just been released in Feb 2020, but will book up fast.
